How do I know the condition of the car?

Every vehicle purchased by Vehicle Direct is inspected by a licensed professional that gives a full and thorough condition. It is much easier to buy this way than in person because there is a guarantee through the inspection company or through the auction. This effectively eliminates the guesswork associated with visually inspecting the car yourself. This service is included with every purchase.

How do auctions work? Are they good cars?

There is a common misconception that cars from auctions are not ‘good cars’ but this is simply not the case. The reason every dealership across North America is full of pre-owned vehicles is not only because they have taken them on trade, for the most part it is because the dealership has bought them at an auction. BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, and all other franchise stores all buy from the same auctions across Canada and the U.S. Some auctions are exclusive for Franchise stores and some are open to all dealers, however none of these auctions are open to the public. Vehicle Direct has access to both open and closed auctions across North America so rest assure you will be getting the best of the best in terms of fresh selection. For the most part these vehicles are lease returns, overstock and franchise inventory.

How does your fee structure work?

Whenever Vehicle Direct quotes a price on a vehicle you will be quoted the landed price in Canadian dollars before tax. Any fees and expenses that come along with the import process will be included in this price. This makes it very easy to quote and gives the customer an accurate idea to how much they saved versus buying a Canadian vehicle. Vehicle Direct will also supply a full breakdown of costs and how the total price was reached.
